More thoughts about the book. I think it could be a required reading for anyone wanting to write a Family History.

Hi Dawn,
I too read this book. I bought it to see how she would intertwine all of her families in her history. I could hardly put it down when reading it. It was so descriptive and so full of ideas for writing a family history. I especially liked the way she weaved historical and cultural events into the lives of her ancestors, re-creating realistic scenes and family conversations at places in the stories. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I have followed her columns in Internet Genealogy Magazine. She is a great writer and story-teller.

Thanks, Bill. It looks like we both have the same mission. I think you have an interesting website--I checked it out--and I hope my readers will take a look at http://drbilltellsancestorstories.blogspot.com.

Thank you for this excellent interpretation of this fine book. I've seen other positive reviews, but this post is especially useful. Thanks, again,
