Heartwrenching. I remember so well when I was going to start my senior year in high school and my dad uprooted our family moving from Illinois to California. My dad had his mind made up. Mom and I were not happy but my sister was delighted as she was starting her freshman year in high school. I went back one year later and then did not go back home for 41 years. I'm one of Dawn's students and this is a chapter I must write. Maybe now is the time. Leaving Eden triggered some things in my memories and is a book I must read.
